A new track should be there with the audio. Without doing anything else press the spacebar (or whatever keypress you has defined for Play)--what happens? Do the music start playing as it does on Mac & Windows or do you have to click on the track to give it focus before pressing the spacebar wil...

I totally agree with Per. I think this has been already discussed and posted in feature request forum, wasn't it?

That and automatic labels with timestamp every time sound activated recording is started... the two missing 'killer' features in sound activated recording :)

According to this thread: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=52237 compiling on Snow Leopard has some issues... So it might take me a little longer to get audacity to compile on my Mac... I won't have time for doing it today sorry, I'll try to get back on this tomorrow or after. ...
