Re: Recording

Logitech usb mics are generally regarded among users of this forum as performing very dicently for the price tag... You'll hardly find anything significantly better in that price range... If I was to buy a cheap usb mic I'd probably go with a logitech. If you have the chance to try a couple of diffe...

Re: Locating Current Version of Audacity

The official download site for Audacity is this: http://audacityteam.org/download/

The recommended version for Windows 7 is 1.3.13, which you can get from here: http://audacityteam.org/download/beta_windows
(or follow the link on the main download page)

Re: Recording

We generated our own listings. http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=48132 In this thread that koz mentioned there are a few suggestions for usb mics. The most important question is "what's your budget?" We can make recommendations from $20 to $2000. How much are you willing to spend?

Re: custom made deadcat for large diaphragm mic

Thank you Steve for the feedback. I'm still not sure if I should get the stereo kit or just one mic. My idea is to use the SC140 closer to the guitar and the SC1100 in the back for ambience. I'll connect both mics to the art preamp. If I get the pair I'll have to leave the SC1100 out, since the Art ...
