The only relevant tags for me are artist and song title. So to me it won't break anything

I'm still knocking my head on the original problem on the first post in this thread... Still getting the pcm error and audacity won't start... Deleting the audacity.cfg file doesn't solve the problem... Just to refresh this is what I get when starting audacity from the command line: $ audacity jack_...

It's actually ~/.audacity-data (or /home/your-username/.audacity-data)

What's your recording source? Are you recording from the line-in/mic? Are you ripping cds? Something else?

It would help if you told us what sound card you have and what your audio source is and how you connect it to your sound card...

I never used labels before so... yes the shortcut was set to CMD-M

I changed it to another key and I was able to successfully reproduce the bug in 1.3.12-beta.

I then tried the same in 1.3.13-alpha-Aug 12 2010 and it no longer happens.

I tried to reproduce #30 in 1.3.12-beta but I was unable to. I think I'm not doing the correct procedure to reproduce it...
