Audacity Forum

Does anyone know a way to remove vocals from a song on a Mac. I've tried on Audacity where you split the track into two, invert the bottom one, and then switch both to "Mono" but that doesn't seem to help that much, just a little. Is there a better way?

Hi. I was wondering if you could help me. I just started using Audacity for some audio cassette tapes that I want to transfer. After splitting my one long track into many smaller tracks, I export it to iTunes (on my Mac) then I listen to the files but the tracks are not split up correctly on iTunes....
