No, that can't be it. It's not a hollow sound. For the first little bit of the recording, it sounds normal (for laptop mic recording), but gradually starts to phase out and sound quite strange.

Oh, so it's the laptop. I figured as much. I do own a Mackie Onyx Satellite and a Shure SM57, but I don't have them available at the moment and I just wanted to get a couple ideas down. The quality isn't a concern, but the phasing throws me off a little. Is there any way to fix that specific problem...
