Re: Audacity only accepts '/var/tmp/' for temp files - but there is not enough space on that partition
But if I understand you correct the right solution would be to make me 'henrik' the owner of the NTFS-partition instead of 'root'. And to change/reduce some permissions. What I would do, would be to resize your current partitions to make room for another partition (or add another drive). Keep an NT...

Re: Audacity crashes during .Mp3 import.
Try this thread. Suggested downloading an older version of Audacity. The trick is though you still need the newer one on your computer also. https://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=64096 That's an ancient thread, in which Gale Andrews is recommending updating to a newer version of A...

Re: Audacity only accepts '/var/tmp/' for temp files - but there is not enough space on that partition
Let me try the 'code'-tag here: Nice :) Much more readable. Re: Why does Audacity freeze?
I'm not doing anything with microphone. I don;t want Audacity check out microphone. It must be totally disabled. How do I do it? Audacity is a recording application. It will not work properly unless there is at least one recording device enabled. You may set the "capture" level for all au...

Re: Audacity no appears in english in Mageia 7.1
I can't the language to spanish because it not appears in the list of traduction languages. That's a bug. It has now been fixed in the development code, so it will be fixed in Audacity 2.3.3 when it is released. If you are able to build Audacity from the source code, the fix is here: https://github...

Re: Why are Detach At Silences spots removed from audio when exporting to .WAV ?
I didn't think there was some universal amplitude or whatever that all electromagnetic waves follow ;p Is that where dBFS comes into play? There is a universal level at which digital audio is clipped, and that is "0 dB" (also known as "full scale" because that it the full range ...

Re: Suddenly Can't Overdub: Error -9985
Nothing changed "Something" changed, otherwise it would still be working. I think what you mean is that you didn't change anything, at least not knowingly. So it could be due to a Windows update, or something that you changed inadvertently, or something that another application changed, o...
