Re: problem recording
When you were using Team Viewer, did Team Viewer have control of your sound system?
Have you granted permission for Audacity to use recording devices? (see: viewtopic.php?f=46&t=100117)

Thanks for the feedback.
I can reproduce the problem with the Graphic Eq and shall log the bug. I expect it will be fixed before release.
I can't run NVDA on my system (Linux), so I'll pass that report on to the relevant people.

Re: Is there a better way to correct recorded timing?
is there a way please to select a note, phrase or chord in the Audacity waveform and slide it to a new position, independently of the rest of the waveform, to correct a timing error? That's "possible", but it involves fairly advanced editing unless the notes have space between them. If th...

Re: Recording from my yamaha mg10xu mixer and i want to have each track record seperately
As it says here: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/tutorial_recording_multi_track_overdubs.html In Audacity by default using the Record button will append record onto your existing track, see the Recording page. In order to record on a new track, for multi-track overdubbing, you will need to use S...

I do almost all of my scrolling and selecting with the mouse. The shortcuts may be slightly different on a Mac (I'm on Linux) Scrolling a long way -> Drag the scroll bar at the bottom of the tracks window. Scrolling a short way -> Shift + Mouse wheel over the tracks window. Selecting -> Click and dr...
