Re: Isolate vocals from trailer
No, because Audacity's tool for "voice isolation" requires a stereo track. It won't run (at all) on a mono track.

Re: Random Squeaking Noises

Re: Deleting the beginning of a project, keep timing the same on multiple track project

Re: Automated MP3 conversion?
LAME may be used from the command line. If you don't already have LAME, you can get it (free) from here: https://www.rarewares.org/mp3-lame-bundle.php Please note that this is the Audacity forum. An updated version that supports the "fast convolution" function in the latest version of Nyquist. The "fast convolution" function is not yet available in Audacity, but will hopefully be available in Audacity 2.4.0 next year. This version still supports Audacity 2.2.1 and later, ...

Re: Windowed-sinc filter (steep cut-off filter)
What would be a possible way to change the code of this Sinc filter so it uses rolloffs instead of windows sizes? You would need to calculate the correct filter kernel to create the response that you require. In this plug-in I'm only interested in creating a sinc filter , so the majority of the cod...

Re: Audacity stops mid way through export
OK, so there's something weird about that one project that is preventing Export from completing.

Re: recording You tube in audacity but listening to speaker off
I mentioned USB because you said previously "I have usb headphones". The case is the same for analog (3mm) headphone sockets - on the back of the computer they are usually connected directly to the motherboard. On the front they are usually connected by a cable to the board. It's possible ...
