Re: 2 bugs in Tags for export
So if you set a custom template as "default", then open a new project ("Ctrl + N"), then open the metadata editor in the new project, do you see your custom template?

Re: How to remove vocals from 5.1 Audio
There's probably no way to extract vocals from other sound that is mixed into the same channel.

The fact that you have 3, apparently identical loopback devices listed, and nothing else, looks rather peculiar.

Re: Measuring pitch
If you are referring to the Change Pitch effect, it analyzes a fraction of a second of the selected audio, at the start of the selection, and attempts to guess the pitch based on that analysis. If the start of the selection is a single note, then the estimation is usually pretty accurate. If the sta...

Re: Audacity failed to read from a file from C when exporting or adding effects
Where is the project saved? Is it on a remote drive? This problem usually occurs if the project has been moved to a location that Audacity can't write to.

Re: Can I Automatically EQ track to Desired Frequency Response?
With 128 points the frequency range only goes down to 750Hz (at 96,000Hz project rate it seems?). I'd recommend using 44.1 kHz sampling rate. With 256 points, the lowest point will then be 86 Hz. I would like to achieve a curve that will adjust to say 40Hz. If you use 512 points with 44.1 kHz sampl...

Re: Export Multiple: incorrect output - file names not numbered correctly
Notice that the user has NO WAY to avoid this collision name The example workflow in the manual avoids the name collision (https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/sample_workflow_for_lp_digitization.html) by recording both sides into one track, and then export multiple with the entire track. Another wa...

Re: Export Multiple: incorrect output - file names not numbered correctly
my argument is that it should come from the output track index as stored in the metadata. Audacity is "open source", which means that you are free to modify the source code as you wish. If you create a new feature, you are welcome to submit a "pull request" and your new feature ...

Re: 2.3.2 Audacity crashing when attempting to change paramiters for Equalization Paramaters
Every time I open up the Macros, go into Equalization and try to click "Edit Parameters", the program just opens up a debug screen saying that it crashed. The workaround is to make the Eq settings before you open the Macro Manager, and save the settings as a preset. Then open the Macro Ma...
