Re: Icons, button are weird. Help please

I'm guessing that you have recently updated Audacity from an old version?

We believe that this issue is due to a minor incompatibility with the layout settings left over from an old version of Audacity. The fix is very easy:
"View menu > Toolbars > Reset Toolbars"

Audacity's code for autocorrelation is here: https://github.com/audacity/audacity/bl ... ectrum.cpp

I'm using version 2.3.2
Are you absolutely sure that you are using Audacity 2.3.2?

Once I "stopped" it exported to MP3
Stopping was required on some older versions of Audacity, but I can't reproduce that in Audacity 2.3.2.

Re: Still, 1 bug in Tags for export

OK, I see. Default metadata cannot be set during Export Multiple. Of course the workaround is very easy - just set the default metadata before starting Export Multiple. I agree that either the "Set Default" should either work in this case, or be greyed out so that it is clear that the butt...

Re: Default metadata tags when exporting aren't saving between sessions

But the issue is in the current version you can't set a default template with metadata. It does not work. 1) "Edit menu > Metadata" 2) "Load" or manually enter the required metadata 3) Click the "Set default" button 4) Click the "OK" button. To check that the...

Re: Files aren't changed after export

When you export, use a new and unique file name. This has two main benefits:
1) It offers some protection against losing work if you make an error,
2) It avoids confusion about which is the "before" and "after" version.

is this making any sense?
None whatsoever. I've no idea how or why nothing is happening, I've not seen anyone else with this problem, and I can't reproduce it myself.
If you think of any detail that you've not yet told us, do let us know and we may be able to be more help.

.,..shouldn't it be the LEFT-hand slider?
Yes it should. Thanks for the report.
Unfortunately it's probably too late for the next Audacity release as the manual was packaged for distribution a couple of days ago, but I'll add a note for it to be fixed asap.

Re: FMPS rating Tag on export for songs without tags too

just 'support' would mean that in most/all cases a FMPS_RATING row would not appear if a song comes with just eg 'Artist' and 'Album' tags. No. "Support" would mean that FMPS tags would be available in the metadata editor. the link you posted has beeen dead for a long time, Then please po...

When I click on Export to MP3
I presume you mean "File menu > Export > Export as MP3..."?

What happens if you click on:
"File menu > Export > Export Audio..."
