That is not correct. All of the comments have been read by members of the Audacity team. I spent several hours yesterday doing so, when I could have been helping the Audacity community here on this forum.

The developers are looking at ways to improve the new project format, though I don't know all of the details - it's "work in progress".

I didn't see but are other people having this issue with the new file saving system? It doesn't seem to be a common problem, though I have occasionally seen large projects becoming unreasonably slow with Audacity 3.x I'm still not sure why this "sometimes" happens, or even why it does not...
