Re: Audacity 2.3.3 rc02 - some effects show Nyquist result , don't change audio
Indeed, running the notch with Debug button: shows the log window - no content ... I guess that's expected if there is no error. Yes, it's normal for the debug window to be empty if there is no error, though the debug window may still have some content for some effects when there is no error. In sh...

Re: Lable Track can't input chinese
There is now an alternative way to enter text into labels that supports Chinese.
Check the option "Use dialog for the name of a new label" in "Edit menu > Preferences > Tracks > Tracks Behaviors".
This issue has now been closed.

Re: I am not a robot
I have no control over my IP. I get dynamic IP, ie, a new one every time I start the modem. It's strange that some of the IP addresses that you use are in different countries. Are you connecting via a proxy server? Anonymous proxies are frequently used by bad actors, and quickly gain a high risk sc...

Re: Note names instead of frequency values in spectrum view
I am thinking about guitar (or bass): open chords have generally their fundamental frequency on E, A and D strings: 82.4 Hz, 110 Hz and 146.8 Hz. And they can be clearly identified using Audacity (if there is not too many other instruments), using a 32768 window size for the spectrogram. Yes I can ...

Re: Audio making crackling sounds when I record
I am not getting any warning or anything. It is acting like there is not a problem That indicates that the problem is occurring before the audio data reaches Audacity. Look in the Windows Sounds settings to see what sample rate the Focusrite 2i4 is set to. Do you have any audio apps running in the ...

Re: Audacity 2.3.3 existing filters not available in new equalizer modes
I agree that this will be an inconvenience for anyone that relies on custom curves, but as you say, they can recreate their custom curves if they need to. I don't think that the issue is sufficiently severe to warrant a top level release note, at least not for most users. The issue is listed if you ...

Re: Unable to record at 768 kHz on Windows via ASIO
1) Have you tried recording at 768 kHz with other software? Does it work at 768 kHz in other software? 2) Does it matter? Do you really need to use higher than 96 kHz? Not directly related to your question, but I found an informative review of the RME ADI-2 Pro here: https://www.hifizine.com/2018/07...

Also, if you've not done so already, try rebooting the computer.

Re: Audacity 2.3.3 - Scrollbar glitches
Did you import the track from a file, or did you record it?
What is the track's sample rate? (look in the info panel on the left end of the track)
What is the "Project Rate" (look near the lower left corner of the main Audacity window)
