Re: Why no 32-bit integer support?
But seriously though, in the future we might have super awesome practical applications for hardware with thousands of dBs worth of dynamic range, so 64 bit wouldn't cut it 32-bit float has a dynamic range of more than 1000 dB. That's around 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times ...

Re: 2.3.? Macro translation
I'm not able to reproduce this problem, but I'm guessing that it may be due to the old version of Audacity that you created the macro with. Do you recall which version of Audacity you used to create the Macro? With your file browser, find the Audacity program folder, and inside there you should see ...

Re: 2.3.3 Regression - Selection Tool Lag when Dragging Cursor
I already had it disabled on my end unfortunately Thanks for confirming - it was just an idea from one of the developers as the other user with this issue had "Snap To" enabled. You could also try the suggestions in this post: https://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?p=381727#p381727 ...

Re: quickly see gain value without action?
Another workaround is that you could open the Mixer Board from the View menu (https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/mixer_board.html). The sliders in the Mixer Board show tool tips on hover. I will deliberate briefly and perhaps I will rephrase some of the things I mentioned in my original post as a n...

Re: quickly see gain value without action?
I thought it was when we used wxWidgets 2.8, which was around Audacity version 2.1.2, but I could well be wrong about that.kozikowski wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2019 8:29 pmI went back to 2.0.3 and none of them (I didn't hit them all) have hover info.
