Re: Authorization to publish Audacity textbook in Brazil.

I recently sent an email to the address: [email protected] That email address is no longer in use, and has not been regularly monitored since Gale Andrews passed away in 2017. If you are aware of that email address being presented as a contact address on one of our sites, please tell us where so that we ca...

There may be something you should look into with 3.0.2 ??
I've tried to reproduce this problem with Audacity 3.0.2 on macOS but I've not been able to reproduce the problem.

Perhaps if you could tell us how your system automatically updated Audacity, that may help us to reproduce the issue.

Re: Where is my email address stored?

I'm not receiving email notification of replies to my posts. I'm wondering if this forum has an obsolete email address for me. But I can't find where it's stored. 1. Click on your name near the top right corner of the forum. 2. Click on the "Profile" tab. 3. Select "Edit account sett...

Re: I've got Directories with these files. What are they?

Those ".au" files are the audio from your project. Do not mess with them in any way or your project could be destroyed. In the TUMC directory there should be a file called "1-3-2021.aup". That's the other part of the Audacity project. It is essential that both the ".aup"...

Re: Installing Effects :

C:\program files\Audacity \Audacity \plug ins\(plug in name) That's the wrong location if you are using 64-bit Windows. Audacity should be installed at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Audacity\ Please check that Audacity is installed there. If it is, then I'd suggest that you first do a full reset of Audac...

I wonder how they pay for all the bandwidth for their "free" package downloads.
Hmm, unless you have more recent information, it looks like they leech bandwidth from other organisations: https://www.reddit.com/r/sysadmin/comme ... stop_with/

Good thing it is open source so now
Yes, nice that they are open source now.
I wonder how they pay for all the bandwidth for their "free" package downloads. Perhaps I'll do a bit of digging.

Re: Changing Zoom Normal setting?

I've found that the ideal zoom level for working with the audio track is one zoom level out from the default; it's more suited to the length of track that typically needs selecting for re-recording (it must be at least one full sentence), but it's still uncompressed enough to make it easy to identi...

Re: How to perform the same tasks on multiple files?

I will ask a granddaughter to, first of all, update Linux Mint to 20.1 LTS and then maybe also update Audacity to version 3.0.2, Updating to Audacity 3.0.2 may be a problem (unless your granddaughter can build from source), however, just updating to Mint 20.1 should automatically give you a more re...

This works the way I want, except that UNICODE doesn't seem to be supported. Many of my labels are Swedish song titles, and we have the letters åäöÅÄÖ i
Unfortunately that's going to be a deal breaker for you. Nyquist does not have Unicode support.
