Unless someone corrects me, you can't easily put Noise Reduction inside a Macro. There is an "easy" way to use Noise Reduction in a Macro, but it is not "convenient". The simplest way is to put Noise Reduction in the Macro (once), with the settings required for the noise reducti...

If there's no perceptible difference between what Audacity produces on both platforms I would not expect a big difference in sound quality when using the same compression settings, though iTunes is frequently said to have the best AAC encoder.
