Re: wxWidgets debugging check failed on opening Audacity

I think that looks OK.
Do you have any other versions of FFmpeg installed? (look in "C:\Program Files (x86)\" and "C:\Program Files\")

Re: How do I keep the original bitrate of a file?

The original question here starts from an incorrect premise in that it suggests that Audacity is modifying the file. That's not the case - the exported file is a completely different ("new") file. Audacity does not directly edit the file. The file is "imported" into Audacity (the...

Re: Low Levels on Audacity from Windows 10

What about in the
  1. "Playback tab > Levels"

Re: How to export multiple tracks without all of them getting the same length?

Good, so that has solved the mystery. Are you aware that Macros can also be used for "batch processing"? That's where you create a macro to act on one file, then run the macro on a batch of files, and Audacity "imports -> processes -> exports" each file in turn. This would be an ...

Re: HELP to recover a project

I deleted an audacity project by mistake but I still have the data file left. Is there a way for me to recover the entire project with all the short sound files left? That depends on whether it's still in the Recycle Bin. If it is in the Recycle Bin you should be able to restore it. If it's not the...

What did you do with Equalization?
Are you asking koz about what settings he used, or are you asking about the update in Audacity 2.3.3 from "Equalization" to "Filter Curve"?

Re: wxWidgets debugging check failed on opening Audacity

That's good - the issue is what I thought it was. This is a known issue that occurs for a few users. We think it occurs if the computer has an incompatible version of FFmpeg installed as well as the correct version. Take a look in " C:\Program Files (x86)\FFmpeg for Audacity " and tell me ...

Re: Headphone issues

However, if I were to unplug the headphones while the program was open, then plug them back in, the old problem returns If you change the available audio devices (by unplugging your headphones and plugging them back in, or in any other way), you need to tell Audacity that the devices have changed. ...

Re: most valued microphone for voiceovers?

There are very many microphones available for recording, and a vast price range. When choosing a microphone, "budget" is one of the main considerations. It's pointless recommending a $2000 microphone to someone that has a $50 budget. Conversely, if a person has a $2000 budget, they can aff...

I don't know what else to do
Click the "Continue" button. You may need to click it more than once.

Which version of Windows do you have?
