Re: No Sound

As you claim to be an audiovisual consultant, you must surely be able to see that you have given insufficient information.

In LMMS, you can select which tone in the left piano roll sidebar and quicky place it in timeline.
Those are MIDI events, not "sounds". Manipulating MIDI events in that kind of way is relatively easy - much more difficult with "sounds".

Re: my Audacity keeps quting unexpectedly!

I am using that exact same Super USB Cassette Tape to capture audio. It had a lot of trouble recognizing that the USB was even plugged in at first, but now even though it's recognizing it, Audacity will still crash. Sometimes 5 minutes in. Sometimes 15 minutes in, and the audio isn't even always av...

Re: Macro/automation for selecting periods of silence?

"Removing" silences isn't a problem with Audacity - just use the "Truncate Silence" effect (with appropriate settings) https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/tru ... lence.html

However, the original post isn't asking to just remove silences.

Re: Nyquist Wish List

Please, would it be possible to get all Nyquist plugins and effects in Audacity official ? I think that for most Audacity users, that would be too much "clutter" in the effect menus. Also, not all of the plug-ins that are available (here on the forum and on the wiki) meet the high standar...

Re: Question about Nyquist tones plugin

You're probably trying to generate a stereo (2 channel) sound into a mono (1 channel) track.
If you are wanting to generate into a new track, try creating a new stereo track first, select the stereo track, then run your Nyquist code.

Re: Latency/Audio issues with Behringer UCA202

From the keyboard's headphone jack to mic/line on the mixer using a 1/4" cable. So that's one mono connection. But my piano is stereo, so usually the right (or bottom part of the track) is different than the left (or top side) of the track. That would require two connections from the keyboard ...
