Re: Allow configuring mouse wheel to scroll horizontally
and Audacity (Ctrl-wheel) Audacity uses (unmodified) mouse wheel scrolling for vertical scroll (like most other apps), hence the use of a modifier key ("Shift") for horizontal scrolling, (and "Ctrl + mouse wheel" for zoom). If you need to scroll a long way, you can drag the scro...

Re: Updated De-Clicker and new De-esser for speech
Firstly, I don't use this plug-in myself, but I think the idea of the "isolate changes" feature is that you would run that on a duplicate copy of the track (or part of a track) so that you can see more easily what exactly the effect will remove when you apply it normally. You can make a du...

Re: Broken link
I've fixed up the page to what I think is correct. I'm not a Windows expert, so I've asked the Audacity developers if someone can take a look and check that the links are now correct. Support for Windows 7 is now becoming impossible as Microsoft are rapidly deleting Windows 7 updates from their down...

Re: Updated De-Clicker and new De-esser for speech
I can't figure out how to get back to my normal audio. Any effect can be immediately undone with "Edit menu > Undo" ("Ctrl + Z"). Note that "Undo" is in strictly chronological order. It will undo the last change, then if you "Undo" again it will undo the prev...

Re: Recording randomly stops
If you haven't customised Audacity, you could try resetting Audacity back to factory defaults and see if that fixes it. The simplest way to do that is: "Tools menu > Reset Configuration" Note: "Reset Configuration" does not reset everything, but it resets most things. If does not...

Enter the time in the "Start" time control of the "Selection Toolbar". See: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/sel ... l#position

Re: ImportLabels does not accept file name
OK, I think I understand. Yes you're correct, the "ImportLabels:" command does not take any arguments (no parameters). As it says in the manual , ImportLabels: " Launches a file selection window where you can choose to import a single text file into the project containing point or reg...
