Re: How to keep original date and time of imported files after exporting in Audacity...?
Wouldn't it be possible to implement this in a future update? Audacity does not operate directly on audio files - On import, the audio is copied from the audio file into the Audacity project. This is a core design feature of Audacity and of the Audacity project format. There are some apps that can ...

Re: AUDACITY and Compander DBX 124 emulation
Vintage DBX II model 124 Noise Reduction Systems are still available on ebay. Prices seem to be in the range $80 to $200. A genuine hardware device is the only way you will achieve "true" dbx decoding. Some suggestions for approximating dbx decoding in Audacity: dbx is a proprietary noise ...

Re: Is there a way to automatically select/process multiple regions which are below a specified level?
Does audacity have a way to analyze the track and just select all of the quieter parts for amplification etc? There's no direct way to do that, but there's a complicated way. You will need a "Noise Gate" - there's a suitable Nyquist plug-in here (direct download): https://forum.audacityte...

I don't use Autotalent myself, but the "manual" for Autotalent is here: http://www.tombaran.info/autotalent.html
