Re: "Could not find project data folder / Could not load file"

I cannot locate the data file that is attached to it. The audio data is not in a "file", it's in a "folder". The Audacity project file should be called: "SHGO interview.aup". The data folder should be called "SHGO interview_data". Search for a folder called &...

You're trying to record someone else's podcast, not create your own podcast, right?
I assumed the opposite, but reading the original post again, I see that it could be either. Best wait for Cedric48 to clarify which they mean.

Re: How to get tags in when batch exporting as they actually are

a) managed to capture the required metadata text I don't think that Audacity scripting can do that. Probably the easiest solution would be to use a batch renaming app to rename your MP3 files to match the id3 tags. There are several free apps available, though I've not used them myself. Google sugg...

Re: Podcast Recording

You will probably not be able to get good enough quality with either the built in mic or a bluetooth mic. If you're on a tight budget, a USB "Desktop" style microphone will probably be good enough for getting started, mic.jpeg though if you are serious about getting good sound quality, you...

Re: RMS normalize plugin

I have attached what is coming up every time I try to pass the ACX requirements. I'm having a hard time getting the RMS levels correct. It says they are under. How can I bring them up, without bringing everything else out of whack? Normalize the RMS so that it is within the required range (I'd sugg...

Is it working now? I can't see your computer, so I only know as much about what's happening as you tell me.

Re: Importing multiple RAW data to file

I need to open ninety-odd raw data files all into the same new comp. As far as I'm aware, "Import RAW" can only be used on one file at a time. To import them all in one go, you would first need to convert them to a recognised audio format (such as "WAV"). I don't know if there i...

Re: Insert new track between existing ones

As of now, if I want to insert a new track, say, after the 10th track/row, I have to add it after the 31st and last row and then tediously hit "Move track up" over and over again. Am I missing something? You could move the track to the top, then tediously (but a bit less tediously) hit &q...

Re: MP3 files saving as AIFF suffix

I think that's a bug that has been fixed in later versions of Audacity.
Does it export correctly if you include ".mp3" in the export file name? (enter the name as "xyz.mp3" rather than "xyz")
