It does have relevance to voltage. It is directly proportional. If you calibrate your system so that you know what voltage into the ADC is required for full-scale output, then you can calculate the voltage from the waveform.

After importing about 10 mp3 files, I then attempted to Normalize all of them, resulting in a crash. That sounds like Audacity ran out of space in it's temp folder. It showed 3.9GB of free space available What is "it"? Do you mean that Audacity showed 3.9GB of free space available? Does y...
