Re: Audacity can not load ANY aup file

What happens if you do this:
  1. Open Audacity
  2. Close Audacity
(Ensure that it opens and closes with no errors or warnings)
  3. Launch Audacity.
  4. Record a short noise.
  5. Save project to Documents.
  6. Close Audacity.
  7. Launch Audacity.
  8. File menu > Open -> select the saved .aup file and click OK.

Re: Convert Label text to LRC file

You're getting less on Windows than I do on Linux. Your version appears to be completely choking on the Unicode characters. For the current version of Audacity, it appears that the script pipe module does not support Unicode at all on Windows. I've written to the developers about this, but I'm not h...

Re: Convert Label text to LRC file

I'm trying to work out where the encoding / decoding is going wrong.
I can't copy and paste digits from a screenshot.

Re: A problem when running pipe_test.py

One guess is that when you run code in the IDE, it is sandboxed to protect the system it is running on. That is, access to the outside world (including Audacity) is limited by the IDE. If you put a "Try Except" around the read and write commands, I expect you will find that although the na...

This is my output. You still can see 4 zero bytes followed by the path "633a5c777877696467...", just like the last time I tried.
What output do you get from two labels, each containing: 不要你
What output do you get from the "GetInfo" menu command with those labels?

Re: Error -9997 Invalid sample rate (not what it seems)

I’m just trying to record my computer’s internal audio. Internal audio only - that's good :) As far as I'm aware, WASAPI loopback recording occurs entirely within Windows, bypassing the sound card's AD/DA chip. In other words, the sound quality of the recording should be just as good using the comp...

Does the Oasis track play all the way to the end if you just play the file in an ordinary media player?

Re: Audacity can not load ANY aup file

So, I double click on my aup file, it tells me it wants to restore my project, I say yes, then it says it found orphan files, and I select continue without deleting and press OK, but what I got is just a big empty nothing. That project is probably gone and lost forever. To try and get back to a sta...

I read that I could input on the sound card,at the light blue port.
If it is a small round hole (mini-jack connector), then yes you can plug/unplug while the computer is on. The tape recorder should not be playing when you plug in / unplug.
