Hence, if you could just point me to the point in the source code where this "intelligent" feature is coded, I will remove (comment) it and recompile... I've only briefly tested on Linux, but you could try this: In void TrackList::GroupChannels change; if ( groupSize > 1 ) { const auto ch...

Re: Why would Audacity not support 10.15?
Apple added extra hoops for software developers to jump through during the 2.3.3 release cycle. Meeting those new requirements would have significantly delayed the release of 2.3.3. The Audacity team decided to release 2.3.3 anyway. Holding up the release would not benefit anyone, but would penalise...

Which version of Audacity?
Which Behringer interface?

Re: Flatline after recording
Many people are still upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10 for free. Have a look at the following articles: That's interesting to know. Re: Flatline after recording
If you just want to update, you can just run the Audacity installer and it will update the older version. Because you are jumping several versions ahead, I would recommend resetting preferences when you install - there's an option to do so during the installation. The current version is available vi...

Re: Russian manual
Sorry for the late reply. No problem. We all have other demands on our time :) Later the .po will be compiled into the .mo shipped with Audacity Are you saying that there's no way to add translations to Audacity after Audacity has been compiled, without recompiling Audacity? Gettext stores paths to...

Re: How to extract numerical values from a record?
Ah, OK. There's no simple way to do that with Audacity. If it were just the peak or RMS level, then it would be easy to accomplish with a Nyquist script, but spectral analysis is much more difficult.ArnaudDuval wrote: ↑Sun Mar 08, 2020 6:17 pmso i want to get the numerical values from the spectrum ...

Re: Feature Request: UI Lock
There are keyboard shortcuts which open the "double click dialog" even when disabled (they are built into Audacity 2 and probably undocumented They're documented in the manual, here: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/keyboard_shortcut_reference.html and here: https://manual.audacityteam...
