There isn't a separate "Italian version", there is just one version that supports multiple languages.

Click on the "Selection type chooser" and select one of the options that includes "length".

I'm not able to reproduce this problem. Are you certain that you have Audacity 2.3.3 (look in "Help menu > About Audacity")
Is that the only version of Audacity installed on your computer?
