Re: Import and synch multiple files, automatically
1) Is it possible to import multiple files, all at once, into separate tracks in audacity? Yes. "File menu > Import > Audio" and select the files that you want to import (the files must be in the same directory to be able to select multiple files). 2) Assuming there is a common audio mark...

Re: UI Lag (Envelope tool)
Which version of Audacity are you using?
Are you using a multi-display setup?
Are you running Audacity at native resolution, or is it scaled up?

Re: 2.4.0 release date?
Just wondering... what are the new features applied to Audacity to justify going from 2.3.x to 2.4.x? It's not actually a "big" version jump. The "major" version number is still "2". I'm expecting some developer discussion about whether the version after 2.4.0 will be ...

Re: .flac converter .mp3
I'm on Linux rather than Windows. I can't reproduce the problem here. In the image below, the first track is generated white noise that is gradually fading out. The second track is a copy of the first track after being converted to 320 kbps MP3. As you can see, the MP3 faithfully reproduces the full...

Re: ACX-Check
What is the name of this new effect "Loudness Normalization". The default setting uses "perceived loudness" (as defined by EBU R-128). The alternative choice is plain old "RMS". For a sneak preview, take a look in the Audacity 2.4.0 alpha manual: https://alphamanual.au...

What is the analog-to-digital converter that you are using?
Can you use it via PulseAudio?
Can you use it with Jack Audio System?

Re: "Filter Curve" effect error window.
That's normal for Audacity 2.3.3.
Does the problem occur if you change the language to English? (See here for how to change the language: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/int ... ences.html)

Re: Visible waveform but no sound
I have 2 separate tracks and part way through one of them the audio just stops playing, the waveform is still visible and I can hear the audio in the background of the second track as it continues to play. I've tried generating a tone in that part of the track and it plays fine but still no audio t...

Re: Generate-Silence User Presets don't work
You could generate the "standard pause" once and copy it, then for each other pause simply "paste".Rob Peters wrote: ↑Wed Apr 01, 2020 2:23 amto insert a standard pause between the English prompt, user reply, and correct Spanish answer.
