As you can see, exporting multi-channel WAV files works fine for me, but I'm on Linux. Perhaps someone on Windows can have a go (DVDdoug ?)

Re: Power spectral density over time
You're very welcome. If you need to include a citation for Audacity in your report, the correct form is shown on our website: https://www.audacityteam.org/about/citations-screenshots-and-permissions/ If you need to credit the plug-in author, my name can be found in the plug-in (open the plug-in in a...

Re: Rendering issue on track list
This looks like it's an incompatibility between WxWidgets and i3 (see issues #539 and #2395 on https://github.com/i3/i3)
Which version of WxWidgets has Audacity been built with? Is it using gtk2 or gtk3?
The minimum required version for Audacity is wx3.0 the recommended version is wx3.1.1 with gtk2.

Re: Exported quadrophonic sound not working as supposed to
i get the advanced mixing options only on ac3 So what happens when you export as WAV? Does it export at all? Does it throw an error? Does it silently fail and do nothing? Are you certain that you are using Audacity 2.3.3? (Look in "Help menu > About Audacity"). I ask, because for me it is...

Re: Power spectral density over time
What I propose to do is to make the plug-in do two things: 1) Convert the selected audio into a "power" waveform that may look something like the image below. 2) Export the data as a text file that can be used for further analysis (as the current version does). Here it is: powerdata.ny Ho...

Re: Recording issues
when i open the audio file for the mic used from my 12 channel mixer I've read that 3 times and I don't understand what you are trying to say. What microphone are you using? How is it connected to your computer? What mixer are you using? How is that involved? Where are your headphones plugged in? W...

Re: Plugin problems.
The first thing you should do is to update. Audacity 2.1.0 is very old. The current version is 2.3.3 and is available via the Audacity website: https://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows/
