Re: Count ins
how do I get the nain track to kick in after the count in ? Is the main track already recorded, or do you mean that you want to start recording after the count in? If the main track is already recorded and is in your Audacity project (presumably starting at time = 0), use the "Time Shift Tool&...

Re: Audacity-mac os-2.3.3.dmg Installer
Open the folder containing the Audacity 2.3.3 DMG, so that you can see the DMG file. Then drag the DMG file onto this web page: https://md5file.com/calculator Look for the "SHA-256" number, and check that it matches exactly with: 43db4d502086257ca377326f9621a343149faac6d3334424b20a3b5cace...

Re: JACK audio support in windows builds
I spoke to one of the developers about this, and to my surprise he told me that he added support for Jack on Windows a long time ago, though he's not tried it in ages so he doesn't know if it still works. This has never been an advertised feature, and as far as I'm aware it has not been formally tes...

Re: Editing clips of audiobook

Re: Windows WASAPI Not picking up audio
I'm not sure what to advise. The "audio device info" comes from the sound drivers, and it looks distinctly odd. If it were me, I'd try updating the sound card drivers with the latest version from the manufacturer, but that can be risky if you're not sure what you are doing (you could end u...

Download free trail of the "ERA 4 pack" According to their website , they are only compatible with Audacity on Mac, though they do say: If you don’t see your audio or video editor here, you can always download the free, fully functional 14-day trial and see if your HOST is supported. If y...

Re: How to restore project aup files?
You need to find those .AUP files. They contain the instructions for how to reassemble the data fragments. Without the AUP file you just have a large collection of audio fragments.
