Re: Is it possible to donate money to this project?
I really appreciate Audacity and I would like to donate some money, but I can't figure out how to do it! We no longer accept direct donations, but donations may still be made via FossHub on the Download page: https://www.fosshub.com/Audacity.html Donations to Fosshub benefit all of the excellent op...

Re: Random glitches on Left Channel when recording
My guess is that it's a hardware fault, but it would be useful to closely examine a WAV file as requested by Koz.

Re: Export mp3 To Same Folder As Opened From?
Firstly, I would NOT recommend overwriting the original MP3. If you overwrite and anything goes wrong (such as trimming too much, or using too low kbps for the MP3, or anything else), then you will have lost the original forever. In the current Audacity 3.0.2 version, you can specify a particular fo...

Re: Converting Audacity Sound Wave to Numerical form and vice versa
I am trying to convert my recorded sound wave on Audacity, into a numerical form (a bit like a list of x,y coordinates) See here: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/sample_data_export.html and here: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/sample_data_import.html Note that for the default sample rate o...

Re: ✓ Converting point labels to regions
Yes, that seems to work. It's not fast, but it's OK. I had to insert some delays to make sure things weren't executed before last command was finished. Here's my AutoKey script, in case anyone is interested: You may be able to make it quicker (and shorter) by creating a keyboard shortcut for "...

Re: Male and Female vocals...how to remove only one?
Reading back my previous post, it is perhaps not clear.
For the second version (female2.ogg), I did the same steps (1 to 10) as the first version, and then applied the low-cut (high-pass) filtering and Noise Reduction.

Re: ERROR: Import Failed- this is likely caused by a malformed MP3
I am naive using this software for a school project. I have some recording but when I try to open them it is giving me error message that this is likely caused by a malformed file. I tried all methods mentioned here. Still I am unable to resolve Which version of Audacity? (Look in "Help menu >...
