Re: Adding a waveform

Topic moved to General Audio Programming board. Its an instantaneous impulse I think the expression you are looking for is "impulse train". As waxcylinder wrote, the "Rhythm Track" generator will give you something similar, though not "instant" up and down. There are ma...

I followed the directions. Audacity opened but Terminal did not ask for the correct permissions.
If the Terminal already has the necessary permissions, it won't ask again.

What happened? Did Audacity launch? If it did, then what happened when you tried to record?

Re: Audacity-mac os-2.3.3.dmg Installer

Yes, they match perfectly. That's good. That shows that the file is complete and correct. Your video shows that your Mac is getting stuck on the verification. It is possible to bypass the verification, and in this specific case it would be safe to do so because we have manually verified the DMG via...

Re: Pinebook 64?

ARM64 is not officially supported, though we have received a report from a Linux software developer that he was able to get it running on a "Surface Pro X". The Surface Pro X provides Win32 compatibility through an x86 emulation layer. The only thing he wasn't able to get working was WASAP...

Re: Error Saving Project - Audacity Failed to write to a file.

I've split your post from the other topic as you are using a much later version of Audacity, on a later version of macOS, and have a different error message (so it is not the same problem). Are you trying to re-save an already saved project, or is this a project that has not yet been saved? How exac...

How can I do?
You can't, not unless you want to listen to each 6 second fragment and figure out where each piece goes.

Re: Assembling remote ensemble mp3 files

I agree with Doug, so these comments are in addition to what he wrote: Everybody should be using the same click track A "click track" does not need to literally be "clicks", though clicks are good as a count in (bands often start with the drummer clicking his sticks together whil...
