It's possible that there could be some data corruption that is stopping the export from completing.
Try selecting part of the track and then use "Export Selected Audio". Can you export the first half of the track? Can you export the second half of the track?

Re: recording in stereo vs mono for non music files
I would recommend recording in stereo. Sometimes with cassette recording, there can be a bad bit in one channel, or one channel may be too quiet or too loud. If you record both channels, then you have the option to use one, or the other, or both channels, depending on what sounds best. If you record...

Re: Russian manual
That offer was declined, which I take as a definite rejection. "Declined" is not the same as "rejection". The Audacity developers deal with software development - getting the code to work. Translations are generally left to the translators. From time to time, developers may disa...

Re: Audacity not recognizing things it should recognize
Audacity doesn't seem to be able to find my secondary SSD, an M.2 with all my vinyl recordings on it. An M2 drive for data storage? That's unusual. Is your Linux system also on that drive? Is the drive mounted at boot time? As an alternative, I tried dragging from Files and dropping into Audacity. ...

Re: Converted file playing back too fast.
it runs much faster than it should Roughly how much too fast? For example, if it's a C60 tape (60 minutes play time), is it playing the entire recording in 10 seconds, or 30 minutes, or 55 minutes ... Is it just the speed that's a problem, or is the pitch also much higher (voices sounding like chip...

Re: Audacity 2.3.3 not playing nicely with Jabra Pro 930 Headset
Is there something I'm missing? Most applications make a connection to the audio device, and retain that connection until the application is closed. For historical reasons, Audacity does not do that. Audacity opens a connection to the audio device when required (on play or record) and then releases...

Re: Audacity not recognizing audio input device
I am using Catalina 10.15.4 and Audacity 2.3.3 The software used to work, but since my computer upgraded to Catalina, Audacity does not seem to recognize or hear sound from the computer mic or using an external H2 zoom as a mic. I am not a high level user. I really only use this software for some v...
Re: recording
Is this the only way to do this. The better alternative would be to use a video recording program that allows you to record from the Mackie. I'm quite surprised that you can't do that with the video recording program that you are currently using. Have you tried setting the Mackie as the default rec...

What other audio applications are running?
If you have installed "Asio4All", try uninstalling or disabling it.
