Re: Contributing to the Wiki

Unfortunately we had to close the Audacity wiki to public editing because we didn't have time to deal with spam, vandalism and misinformation. I have noticed a couple of errors on the Wiki Other than account creation being disabled, what were the other errors? I'm mostly interested in updating and e...

Re: Can't Record Second Track in Win 10

Audacity does not support ASIO. If you are running ASIO software at the same time as Audacity, there are likely to be problems due to ASIO grabbing exclusive access to the audio hardware.

Re: Using Audacity with Camtasia

I was actually wondering if you thought I should export in mono from Camtasia when moving it to audacity to work on it, or if there's no difference at what point in the process I convert it to mono. It probably doesn't make any difference, but I'd suggest that you test both ways to see if there is ...

Already done :) Thanks to you bringing this to our attention, the behaviour has been changed in Audacity 2.4.0 which is due to be released next month. The fix is also available now in the current GitHub so...

Re: Free Moving of Effect Preview

a small change can make the software more comfortable. What you are suggesting is not a "small change". There have already been a number of suggestions that you have discarded out of hand. It seems from your responses that what you really want is for Audacity to behave like a real-time DA...

Re: Node-system in Audacity

I was thinking. Can node-system which I described be integrated as nyquist development tool? So, every operator in nyquist could be presented as node in graph. So when creating new sound, user creates a network of nodes. Nyquist can already do something similar to that, but it does not have a graph...
