I don't have a Rubix 44, but recent versions of Windows appear to only support "duplex" audio (recording and playback at the same time) if the recording sample rate and playback sample rate are the same. Unfortunately, Windows also frequently sets them to different sample rates by default....

Where are you exporting to?
What is the full and exact name of the exported file?
Does the crash also happen if you "Generate" audio rather than "Record"? (Try generating a tone into a new project, and see if you can export it).

My podcast now has spots where the breaths were that have no audio and so it sounds disjointed when listening to it. I wanted to add back in some noise (I’m thinking Brownian) where the breaths were taken out. You may not need to use a Macro at all. Have you considered using the "PunchCopy.ny&...

For step 4, use:
Select Tracks Mode="Set" Track="1" TrackCount="1"

If the next command requires the selected track to have focus, then you will need to also add (after "Select Tracks")
Set Track Status Focused="1"

Does this only occur with one specific project?
