Re: Audacity 2.2.2 and IQaudIO Codec+

We need to try and match up the names of devices. Please post the output from these commands: arecord -l (final character is lower case "L") aplay -l (final character is lower case "L") aplay -L When posting the output from each command, click the "</>" button and post ...

as I read in the manual of rubix44 the "rubix44 headphone jack" only plays the computers playback, when the rubix is in a recording situation.
I'm looking in the Rubix reference manual and I don't see that. Where exactly does it say it?

Re: recording whilst listening to another track

I don't have a Rubix 44, but recent versions of Windows appear to only support "duplex" audio (recording and playback at the same time) if the recording sample rate and playback sample rate are the same. Unfortunately, Windows also frequently sets them to different sample rates by default....

Re: Crash on export 2.3.3

Where are you exporting to?
What is the full and exact name of the exported file?
Does the crash also happen if you "Generate" audio rather than "Record"? (Try generating a tone into a new project, and see if you can export it).

Re: Macro Not Selecting Appropriate Tracks

My podcast now has spots where the breaths were that have no audio and so it sounds disjointed when listening to it. I wanted to add back in some noise (I’m thinking Brownian) where the breaths were taken out. You may not need to use a Macro at all. Have you considered using the "PunchCopy.ny&...

Re: Macro Not Selecting Appropriate Tracks

For step 4, use:
Select Tracks Mode="Set" Track="1" TrackCount="1"

If the next command requires the selected track to have focus, then you will need to also add (after "Select Tracks")
Set Track Status Focused="1"

Re: More rebust tone generator plz

There is just no reason why audacity has to stop at 22 kHz when mice, rats, cats, dogs, and other animals can hear frequencies way above, up to 100 kHz. It is physically impossible for digital audio to carry frequencies above the "Nyquist Frequency" (See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nyq...
