Re: Removing repetitive sounds like umm
Is there any universal search and delete feature similar to word processing where I could this more efficiently? No there isn't. Computers don't understand speech, so it is very difficult for a program to distinguish between an unwanted "umm" and an intentional "I'm" or "hi...

Re: MONO, SEPARATE SEREO TRACK
If I understand your question correctly, you want to know about removing a voice from music. Up to date information about this can be found in the manual here: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/tutorial_vocal_removal_and_isolation.html Note that a lot of information on this subject found on the in...

Re: Audacity won't record when Source Connect is running in Windows 10

Re: Need input, Stephanie!
it's what opens when I select "Audio mixer..." from the menu on my system tray sound icon. Same here on Xubuntu. An important feature of PulseAudio is that when it uses an audio device, it takes exclusive control of that device. Other applications are not able to use that device while it ...

Re: Audacity Logo Redesign
You can certainly propose ideas. Many users do. We have a huge list of proposed ideas here: https://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Feature_Requests Some of the ideas eventually get implemented, but implementation take time and effort for one or more developers. Audacity developers are volunteers, so the...

Re: No File, Edit, Select, View etc on my 2.3.3 dowload
Are you new to macOS? Are you aware that it is normal for applications on macOS to have their menus at the top of the display rather than at the top of the application window?

Re: Need input, Stephanie!
Setting the Recording Device to Generic: ALC892 or ALC892 Alt results in the Error Code -9997 Invalid Sample Rate problem, possibly because there are no listed sample rates? Indirectly yes. The device is probably being used by PulseAudio. You can check that in PulseAudio Volume Control (pavucontrol...
