Re: EQ Missing
The old effect saved it's settings in a file called "EQCurves.xml". Assuming a standard Windows installation, that file can be found in the hidden folder: C:\Users\ <user name> \Application Data\audacity\ Make a copy of that file and keep it safe until the next Audacity release becomes ava...

Re: sample data export
I also exported the file as Linear Scale but the values are also different from Sonic Visualizer. They should be pretty close. Re: Where is Punch/Copy/Paste
I've read that Punch/Copy Paste is included on this version of Audacity. "Punch/Copy Paste" is not included in any official version of Audacity. It's an optional extra. It is actually two Nyquist plug-ins; PunchCopy.ny and PunchPaste.ny It can be downloaded here: https://forum.audacitytea...

Re: Editing pieces of tracks together
That is very interesting. I do not plan to overlap the tracks. I'm just going to do as you said and introduce labels to signify where I want the track beginnings to be. I am also not adding any effects because I'm trying to get files as close as possible to what the CD is supposed to be. All the fi...

Re: Missing font?
Most operating systems have a sans serif font that they use when "swiss" is called for. On Windows it is usually Helvetica. On Ubuntu / Debian I think it is normally DejaVu Sans.

Re: Editing pieces of tracks together
So you're saying that if none of the tracks overlap in alignment, then they're fine? Thinking about it a bit more, if both tracks come from 16-bit files, and neither has been "processed" in Audacity, then it doesn't actually matter whether they overlap or not, so long as the mix does not ...

Re: In Audacity 2.3.3 there are no horizontal scroller buttons in Ubuntu 20.04
What can I do? If you feel strongly enough about it, you could complain to Ubuntu, though I expect it will be wasted effort. There's a trend in modern GUI design away from those buttons - look at Firefox as an example. Alternatively you could look to see if any of the available Desktops for Ubuntu ...
