Re: Vocal Pitch Analysis/Correction
I'm not sure if Audacity can help you. What exactly are you wanting to do? What's the purpose of this?

Re: Cannot get ACX check plug in
And it's squiggly line slash Library, not regular slash library. It's a lot easier to just use the "Nyquist Plug-in Installer" to copy the plug-in to the right location. This is the recommended way to install Nyquist plug-in for macOS: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/installing_effect...

Re: Vocal Pitch Analysis/Correction
You can use Melodyne in Audacity? Probably not. The manufacturer recommends either using it as a standalone application, or as a plug-in with: Apple Logic Pro X, Steinberg Cubase, Steinberg Nuendo, Presonus Studio One, Bandlab Cakewalk, Magix Samplitude, Cockos Reaper, Acoustica Mixcraft or Trackti...

Re: Effect tracking in each track, with undo per track
Undo, for each individual track In some cases that is not possible. An easy example: 1) Import some audio. Creates the first track. 2) Apply an effect to the track. Modifies the data in the first track. 3) Duplicate the track. Note that this is almost instant because it only requires adding pointer...

Re: Improvements to track management
I think I may need to log an enhancement request for this - do you agree or disagree Steve ? I think the developer's are already aware - at least James is. You may recall the recent discussion about uses of "focus". As the next major release will be about the Audacity Project format, I do...

Re: Vocal Pitch Analysis/Correction
The program for that is "Melodyne" (by Celemony). Prices from around €99 to €699.
As you might guess from the prices, this is difficult technology that has required years of development investment.

Re: Feedback: Loudness Normalization
Thanks for testing and giving feedback. It would be even better if there was a switch to merely display the Loudness, that is the amount by which the sound will be amplified. Basically a version that serves as analyzer as well as an effect. Personally I think it would be better for Audacity to have ...

Re: Macro For Sequencing Setup
How can I open the generate rhyhtm track dialog via macro/script? You can't. Audacity's Macros are just a simple list of instructions. When a Macro sends a command to run the Rhythm Track plug-in, it can include the required parameters (settings) for the effect, or else the effect runs with default...

Re: Balance audio reset on startup
Balance is not adjustable in Audacity. When Audacity opens a port to connect to the computer sound system, most sound systems respond by creating an initialized connection to that port (though it works a bit differently on Linux when using Jack). Audacity does not control exactly how the sound syste...
