Re: ACX Check fails in 2.4.1
Contrast is fine with me. An alternative is the "Measure RMS" plug-in, which is shipped with Audacity and just needs to be enabled in the Plug-in Manager: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/measure_rms.html I guess that ideally we should see the level drop below 60 dB RMS at least a coup...

Re: Repair at beginning and end of selection

Re: Macro/Scripting To Automate Metadata Editing
I don't think there's any way to directly edit metadata via Macro/Scripting. One possible solution would be to manually create a "dummy" audio file that contains the required metadata. Import this file into an empty Audacity project to get the metadata into the project, then mute the track...

I'm not able to reproduce the problem.
Can you provide steps for a minimal example that will allow me to reliably reproduce the issue?

Re: Audacity support
Is there anyone who can/would be willing to help me? Sure, fire away. Please start a new topic for each different question. Please include which version of macOS and which version of Audacity you are using in each new topic. There's a few issues that we are not able to help with, for example: Spyin...

Re: GSNAP ENABLED BUT SHOWS BLANK POP-OUT
Try disabling the "graphical display" (this replaces the non-working pretty GUI with a basic GUI). To do that: 1) Click on the hamburger button in the bottom left of the effect. 2) Select "Options", then 3) Remove the tick mark from "Enable graphical interface" 4) Close...

Re: no nyquist -no silence finder
You will probably find that all Nyquist effects are missing.
This appears to be a packaging error in the ubuntuhandbook1 PPA build. I'd suggest that you report it to the PPA maintainer.

If you turned on "Software Playthrough", turn it off again (Transport menu > Transport options)
