Re: Audacity 2.4.1 kills Line In

Each time I attempt to use the line-in port with Audacity, the port the port becomes inoperative.. It no longer indicates/knows that the phone jack is inserted. (As shown on the Sound window Recording tab.) If you change the recording device, you may need to "Rescan Audio Devices" (bottom...

Re: Removal of prior equalization effect

I think that you (Hermesacat) will be pleased to know that most of your criticisms are mistaken, and things are nowhere near as bad as you initially thought. It is also important to note that the "Filter Curve EQ" and "Graphic EQ" in the current Audacity 2.4.2 have been updated s...

and adding a section of audio from another file
If you use the "Import2:" command you have to enter the full file path and file name, for example:

Re: Ability to import audio file using clipboard

I don't think that would be possible.
Audacity has it's own clipboard that is capable of carrying copied audio tracks, but it is only available for copying from Audacity to Audacity, for example for copying from one open project to another, or for copying from one or more tracks to other tracks.

Re: Keyboard shortcuts

Audacity does not support global shortcuts, but I'll log your interest in that feature.

One possible workaround is to use "AutoHotkey" or similar to intercept the key press and pass it on to Audacity.

Re: Need to enhance a recording from a iPad

You could try the Noise Reduction effect, but if the fan noise is too high it won't be possible to remove it without also destroying the voices: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/noi ... ction.html

Re: import macro not working

What are you trying to do with the macro?
If you want to batch process files, you don't need to have an Import command.

Re: scale layout interface of Audacity 2.1.2

Audacity 2.1.2 is now rather old. You can get the current Audacity 2.4.2 via the Audacity website: https://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows/ Is it possible to scale/zoom in Audacity mennu/all Audacity layout. ‘Windows logo key’ and ‘+’ (plus) opens the Windows Magnifier. Alternatively you could...

I've successfully installed their plugins into it on previous computers.
Have you ever successfully used this specific plug-in with Audacity, or just some other Waves plug-ins?
