Re: Seamless loop of engine sound
Maybe i need to try recording while the engine is under load and it might be smoother. You will probably be able to get a more steady tone if you record while holding a steady speed on an open road. Re: Playing a midi track
You need to have Timidity running as a daemon.
If it's not already installed, install "timidity-daemon" and then reboot the computer.

Re: Nyquist installer missing
For Audacity 2.2.1:
Put the ".ny" file into the hidden folder:
~/.audacity-data/Plug-Ins
("~/" means your home folder)
Then launch Audacity and enable the plug-in using the plug-in manager: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/man ... yzers.html

Re: Hit "Record" - Nothing Happens
Yes, it turns red, and it doesn't give any levels nor advance, even though the mic is listed on the mic toolbar. I've put the level up. I've checked the privacy settings on Windows 10. It doesn't advance. It doesn't do a mic level nor a recording despite that it says in the toolbar that it recogniz...

Re: Nyquist installer missing

When you have done that, write back and say which version of Audacity you have, and whic...

Re: TRACKING STEREO AT TWO DIFFERENT VOLUMES???
A stereo "track" has two audio "channels" (left and right).
To be able to mute one and not the other, you will need to split the stereo track into two mono tracks.
