I don't know about the e-mail program that you are using, but with Thunderbird,
Take a screenshot by pressing the "Print Screen" key
Create a new e-mail message and press Ctrl+V to paste the screenshot.
I can't think of anything much simpler than that.

Audacity does not support AC3, you need to convert it to a supported format such as wav first.

Are you able to record with other software, such as Windows "Sound Recorder"?
