Re: Audio disappears in middle of audio track

If you are using tracks, or parts of tracks from CD's, you need to have the audio (Aiff, or wav) on your hard drive before you import into Audacity. Audacity does not necessarily copy the entire audio into the data folder, it also uses "pointers" to files, so the audio that you are process...

Re: Stereo MP3 tracks load as mono

Father Brian wrote:This morning, those same tracks are opening as 1-channel mono. Audacity Preferences Audio I/O Recording Channels setting is 2 (Stereo).

Re: Is there a 1.34 version for Windows ME

There is no version "specifically" for ME, but according to this page: http://audacityteam.org/download/beta_windows 1.3.4 should work using the "Windows 98/ME" installer.

Re: Stereo to Mono

There may be a quicker way than this, but this will give you a genuine mono mix: 1) Click on the name of the track and Select "Split stereo track" 2) Click on the name of the upper track and select "Mono" 3) Repeat step 2 for the other track 4) Press [Ctrl]+A (to select All) 5) C...

Re: How to get rid of the blip between tracks when burning C

Re: can vocal quality be improved from "tinny" ?

If you are using Audacity 1.2.6 try setting up the Equaliser similar to in this picture by drawing the blue line: eq.gif What this does is to cut the very low bass (below 100 Hz), then boost low frequencies (100 to 800 Hz) then progressively reduce higher frequencies. If the result sound muffled, th...
