Are you asking how to make two (or more) voice recordings that were recorded at different levels play at the same volume? If so, just use "Effects > Amplify", or use the volume slider on the left hand side of the track to adjust the levels of each track.

There should be no difference in sound between Apple lossless and a WAV file. That's what "lossless" means. However, your media player may not play them exactly the same, for example it may play one format a bit louder than the other. If you convert from WAV to Apple Lossless and back agai...

There is a known problem with very long tracks which generally occurs at around the 12 hour mark. It seems to because even though Audacity stores the data in little chunks, it still has to address it internally as a single track. Thus Audacity runs up against a 32 bit limit, very much like the file ...

The track labels in Audacity allow you to export each section as a separate file using "Export Multiple". When you make your audio CD, you use each of these exported files and each file will become a separate track. More details here: http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php?title=Splitting_...
