Re: voodoo child by rogue traders and audacity
I presume that you are not getting confused by the first 6 bars of music which are supposed to sound a bit strange (hardly any bass below about 500 Hz). Re: voodoo child by rogue traders and audacity
You will need to give a lot more detail. How are you recording? What do you mean by wrong (rong)? What is your recording source? etc.thehalfbloodgreek wrote:when i record the song the bass goes really rong.

Re: Missing letters in labels
So are you using a Danish keyboard?

Re: No Playback
Gnome media is, but when installed it doesn't only not work, it also collapses everything, the whole system broke down! Oops, sorry  I trust that you have now removed it OK. qamix isn't in the repo's That's a shame, it's worked wonders for me. I think that you will probably have to delve into...

First have a look at this, with particular attention to the section on Vista: http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php? ... bar_Issues
Note also that some soundcards have "stereo mix" permanently disabled or unavailable, although in some cases a driver update can fix the problem.

Re: Total and Drastic Newb!
i'm not even sure where to plug my instrument into the computer. First you need a soundcard that has a "Line in" (not to be confused with a "microphone in") If you are on a desktop PC then you probably have one - the socket will probably be one of a group of 3 or more mini-jack ...

Re: No Playback
when using the live cd recording of sound will not function. The hard rive is not accessable, I can't say that I've tried it with sound-recorder, but Audacity can record even when running from a Live CD - it uses the RAMDisk (so of course there's a relatively short time limit to how long a recordin...
