Re: Synch Problems
The basic problem is that the audio inputs for most laptops are crap and only suitable for simple low quality voice recording with a computer microphone. In most cases, plugging a guitar into a laptop mic input leads to so much distortion that no one notices that it's out of sync. You could try usin...

Re: Export to MP3 / WAV fails
For maximum compatibility, export as 16 bit 44.1 kHz Microsoft PCM WAV. That's the standard format for CD and will play in any media player. A 16/44100 wav converted to mp3 should play in most media players, but if you still have problems, try switching to CBR instead of VBR for making your mp3. (Yo...

Re: High Pass Filter of Nyquist Script HELP!!!
I've seen a post somewhere on this forum about how to make an n-pole filter with simple Nyquist commands, but I've no idea where - you could try searching for it. Also there are Nyquist plug-ins already for high pass / low pass filters with variable slopes (by Dominic Mazzoni, modified by David R. S...

Re: Distorted playback
It could be any one of loads of things that makes 24/96 unstable on your machine, and it could be hardware which could mean that there's nothing you can do about it (unless it's a plug or a lead...) I would suggest trying 32/48 instead. Unless you are part dog I doubt that you will hear the differen...

Check your Windows Recycle Bin, if you have accidentally deleted some files, you may be able to Restore them.

Re: High Pass Filter of Nyquist Script HELP!!!
I can't really help with the Nyquist programming as 1) I'm not a programmer, and 2) I've usually found a way to accomplish what I want with things that already exist (though sometimes it needs a bit of lateral thinking). In this case, you can do option 1 using "batch processing" with Audac...
