Re: Please supply link to download PDF Manual for V1.3.4-bet
Yes - as it says in the "ReadMe" file :Haymo wrote:Is there anybody who could please tell me why the downloads of both MAUNUAL and HELP (from inside Audacity 1.3.4) fail ?

Re: BIG little problem??
What perplexes me is why it didn't erase the ENTIRE project. Any thoughts? Not really, it could be one of a number of things depending on exactly what you were doing. The most common reason for bits of audio going AWOL is when someone "Imports" some of the audio, but has Audacity set to &...

Re: Fast forwarding through a track
While the playback is STOPPED, you can click on a track (with the selection tool) to set the playback start position.
You can also zoom in and out using the zoom tools so that you can see as much or as little of the tracks as you want.

Re: importing WMA files to audacity
Microsoft PCM WAV files should import perfectly, but WMA is not supported so you would need to use a standalone converter such as SUPER to convert WMA files to WAV.

Re: 1.3.4 mute/solo new behavior issue
, for instance i have a two channel recording with damage in one channel, but other is ok. Very easy, so long as you are familiar with how Audacity does things. Using Audacity 1.3.4 Audacity can support unlimited (subject to hardware) audio tracks, so let's start using some: Start with importing th...

Re: Trouble Recording with Notebook
Well, what are you trying to record? If you're set to use the Line In, then you should have something plugged into the Line In. If you don't, then I'd expect silence. I'm guessing you're trying to record the speaker output. In that case, you need to select the 'Stereo Mix' or 'What U Hear' or 'Wav ...
