Re: Can I edit the volume of a video clip?

Audacity is an audio editor and does not support video. It is possible to record audio into Audacity from a video, by playing the video in another application (or on an external player), but you will need a video editing program to put the sounds back into the video. Most video editors have some kin...

Re: Vocals Processing

I am completely new to any kind of recording and have just about managed to record a song, with all the instruments in different tracks. Yay! Way to go :D I've also recorded the vocals but they don't seem to blend into the song and so stick out. One of the reasons why Sound Engineers and producers ...

Re: Almost Finished Edit Now Has Big Holes in the Waveform!H

Audacity project files are quite complicated. There is a "Project File" that is called " something .aup", and then there is the data. The data can exist in multiple locations - in the project data folder " something _data", in the temporary folder, and may also be in ot...

Re: recording problem with microphone input

Re: Delete vocal in a normal song!!!??

That's one of the reasons why I recommend using Nero rather than WMP - you end up with a lot less beer mats. :D

Re: Audacity Keeps Crashing

Sounds like you need to reset Audacity.

To do this you need to remove the Audacity settings which are stored in an "audacity" file in your Library. If you need more information about how to do that you'll be better off asking kozikowski as he is a Mac user and i'm not.

Re: So you say Audacity is a Unicode application?

It works for me in XP No, it doesn't, because something wrong is with your web browser settings What I mean is that for me in XP, Audacity will accept Unicode Character Codes without complaining or crashing as described by you. I don't care if I have the correct fonts installed to be able to displa...

Have you tried playing the file in a media player? Does it sound OK? What format is the file?
