Re: Different waveforms on oscilloscope and Audacity
Both YouTube and MP3 encoding involve "lossy" (inexact) encoding. The encoded waveform is an approximation of the input signal, but one of the things that is ignored (because it's not audible) is the relative phase of frequency components. Changing the phase of some frequencies in a wavefo...

Re: Lame buit-in is not compatible with older-lame version

I just hope the configuration stays between restarts It should. I am not sure if it is possible to detect this issue Unfortunately Audacity cannot detect that, because it happens in PulseAudio before Audacity. Audacity just interfaces with PulseAudio, but has no idea what happens on the other side ...

Re: aac/m4a 10 Channel Export
You will need to use an encoder that supports 10 channels. Audacity's "FFmpeg libvo_aacenc" only supports up to 8 channels.
Perhaps you could use OGG instead?

Re: Tracks will not play automatically

Where did that MP3 file come from? Is it one that you made with Audacity, or did you download it from somewhere?
The error message means that the MP3 file has an unrecoverable error in the header.
