Re: Playing FLAC formatted files on my computer.
I understand that this is a fairly loseless No, it's completely lossless. that does not take up as much space as my WAV files Typically around 50%. How do I play said files when I want to listen to them? Unfortunately, even though FLAC is free, open source, stable, performs as well as any proprieta...

Re: Behringer uca202 not appearing on audio I/O recording de
No it wasn't showing so all i basically did was uninstall the behringer driver and then replugged the uca202 back in and it reappeared on the audacity preferences list. Good. Re: vista problem????

Re: Soften Harsher Sounds
The Edirol R-09 is obviously far better quality than a cheap computer mic, but curiously they use almost identical technology. They both use "small diaphragm electret" microphone capsules, which can be prone to over emphasizing sibilants. I would try and avoid using cotton wool, or tissue,...

Re: 5.1 Surround Sound Question

And both the sound effects and the music are stereo? If so then..... Is that possible? No. It is not possible. I think the re...

Re: How to play a song...
Find the Windows Startup wave, and rename it as a backup file. Put your song in the same folder as the startup wave and rename it to whatever the start up wave was called. You will probly need an admin account to do this, and the format of your song will probably have to be the same as the original ...
