Your microphone is a "dynamic mic". Although general purpose sound cards are designed to use a different kind of microphone (electret microphone), it should still work ok. The pink socket is the correct one, although you will probably find that the sound quality is not particularly brillia...

Or do I have to do it selectively. And if selectivly, how? As koz said, doing it selectively is the best way. A little "trick" that works for some kinds of material: Lets say that you have a recording of two people having a conversation, and person A is recorded a lot louder than person B...

It can probably be fixed by clearing out the registry entries for Audacity (ask if you want further details for this) but it would be a lot easier to give Audacity 1.3 a go (Audacity 1.3 does not use the Windows registry).
