If you are using a conventional sound card (not USB) then you need to use the WINDOWS MIXER (speaker icon near the clock) to enable (not muted) the playback of your recording source.

1) Make sure that you use "Export", and not "Export Selection" - the latter will only export the audio that is currently selected.

To summarize koz: 1) Do your stuff in Audacity 2) Save the Audacity project - this will create a " filename .aup" file and a " filename _data folder" 3) EXPORT the final mix as a wav (or mp3 for lower quality but smaller) file. Don't forget step 3, that's where you make a proper ...
