Noise removal does not work well in chains as the noise profile should match exactly the noise present in the specific sample. Select the beginning (blank) part of the track(s) and press Ctrl+K to delete.

Audacity does not support wmv

WAV is better quality than MP3
MP3 is smaller file size than WAV

Use the "time shift" tool to move the clips left or right. The time shift tool looks like a double headed arrow pointing left and right.

In Audacity 1.3.x you can do this through the Export dialogue - for Audacity 1.2.x, check the on-line manual for details.

Sorry, that link does not work.
Can you try posting the link address again, or just post the contents of the .ny file

Usually entering a higher precision number manually will work, even though the effect does not "remember" the number.

See if you can record anything with Windows Sound Recorder.
Both Windows Sound Recorder and Audacity use Windows drivers and not ASIO drivers, so this may help narrow down the problem.
